Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tbsp butter, letting it melt and coat the pan.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.
  4. Place the soaked bread slices in the hot skillet and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Transfer the cooked French toast to a serving plate and repeat with any remaining slices.
  6. Serve warm with maple syrup and fresh fruit if desired.

Notes
