Description

Classic deviled eggs with a creamy yolk filling seasoned with mustard, white vinegar, and a hint of paprika.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar, or to taste
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika, or to taste

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with cold water, and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to cool.
  3. Peel the eggs and slice them lengthwise, removing the yolks into a bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, white vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.
  5. Pipe or spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg whites and garnish with a pinch of paprika.

Notes

Adjust seasoning to taste; a dash of hot sauce can add extra kick.
